Fonni

Fonni is the highest mountain village in Sardinia, located in the province of Nuoro at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level. The municipality has a population of approximately 3,542 to 3,552 inhabitants and is situated within the historic subregion of Barbagia di Ollolai. Located about 20 kilometers southwest of Nuoro and roughly 100 kilometers north of Cagliari, the town holds a prominent position in the island's mountainous interior.
