Spiaggia di Abarossa
Santa Giusta
Spiaggia di Abarossa (Dune di Cirras) captivates with crystal-clear waters, fine white sand, and impressive dunes in the Gulf of Oristano.
Location
Spiaggia di Abarossa, also known as Dune di Cirras, is a long, natural sandy beach in the Gulf of Oristano on Sardinia's west coast. The nearly 3.5-kilometer-long beach is famous for its snow-white dunes, which rise up to 20 meters high and are bordered by Mediterranean vegetation.
The clear, turquoise waters invite you to swim and relax, while the fine sand is ideal for sunbathing. Although busy in high season, the vastness of the beach still offers quiet spots. A section of this beach is also designated as a Dog Beach, making it a popular destination for travelers with four-legged friends.
To the north, the beach borders the port of Oristano, and to the south, a fish farm. The natural environment and the impressive dunes make Abarossa a special experience for nature lovers and beachgoers.
