Nuraghe Barru is an impressive example of Nuragic architecture in Sardinia. This polilobate structure, consisting of a central mastio and two lateral towers, testifies to the advanced architecture of the Nuragic age (1900 to 730 B.C.). Adjacent to the nuraghe was once a lively Nuragic village, whose remains still tell the story of this ancient civilization.
