Nuraghe Armungia stands as a prominent, well-preserved monotower in the middle of the village of the same name. This central location is almost unique in Sardinia, making it a special testament to protohistoric architecture.

Built from schist limestone in the Middle Bronze Age, the cylindrical structure has a diameter of about 12 meters at its base. It represents one of the most imposing archaeological sites in the entire Gerrei region.
