Safety notes

Outdoors you are responsible for yourself. Check before you start:

• •Weather, wind and warnings — conditions in Sardinia change quickly.
• •Carry enough water; there is often no supply along the way.
• •In summer mind the heat and wildfire risk, start early.
• •Suitable gear and footwear; mobile coverage is not available everywhere.
• •Access, tickets and closures can be seasonal.
• •Fly only with a valid licence, a local briefing and in line with Italian airspace rules.
• •Emergency number in Italy: 112.
