The municipality of Turri is a small village located in the historical subregion of Marmilla in Sardinia. With a population of approximately 372 inhabitants, it is administratively part of the province of South Sardinia, formerly Medio Campidano. The village represents the typical structure of small rural communities in the region, set within a landscape characterized by gentle hills and a traditional Sardinian atmosphere. Due to its location, Turri serves as a link between different administrative areas of the island.

Lage

Turri is situated in a strategically interesting location in the southern part of Sardinia. The municipality is located about 15.5 kilometers north-northeast of Sanluri and approximately 31.5 kilometers northeast of Villacidro. A special feature of its geographic position is the direct border with the province of Oristano, making the village a border point between different provinces. Historically and culturally, Turri is firmly rooted in Marmilla, a region known for its fertile lands and rolling hills.
