Torpè is a Sardinian municipality located in the province of Nuoro, in the northeastern part of the island. With a population of approximately 2,740 to 2,767 residents, the municipal area covers about 92.30 square kilometers. The town is strategically positioned about 45 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital Nuoro and roughly 160 kilometers from the regional capital Cagliari. As part of the northeastern coastal region, Torpè provides an insight into authentic Sardinian life, set within a landscape shaped by its proximity to the sea and neighboring mountain communities.

Lage

The municipality of Torpè is characterized by its location on the northeastern coast of Sardinia. Its territory borders several significant neighboring towns: to the north lie San Teodoro and Padru, while the eastern border meets Budoni and Posada. To the west, the village borders Lodè, and to the south, the municipality of Siniscola. This geographical positioning makes Torpè a link between the famous coastal regions and the mountainous hinterland of the Nuoro province. Connections to the island's major centers are defined by the distance of 45 kilometers to Nuoro and 160 kilometers to Cagliari.
