Tertenia is an Italian municipality located in the province of Ogliastra, in eastern Sardinia. With a population of approximately 3,845 inhabitants, the town sits at an elevation of 129 meters above sea level in the picturesque Quirra River valley. The municipal territory extends directly along the Tyrrhenian Sea coast and is situated about 100 kilometers northeast of the island's capital, Cagliari. The village is nestled in a striking landscape between the peaks of Monte Ferru, the Tacu Mannu plateau, and Monte Arbu.
