With a population of approximately 2,000 residents and an area spanning 48.2 square kilometers, the village stands as a significant community in the region. It is situated roughly 10.5 to 11 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital, Oristano. Its proximity to prominent water bodies allows the municipality to blend rural traditions with the characteristic landscape of the western coast.
