Gesturi

Gesturi is located in the heart of the historical Marmilla region and is home to a community of approximately 1,100 inhabitants. The municipality covers an area of around 4,500 hectares in the south-central part of Sardinia. Regionally, the town lies 21 kilometers northeast of Sanluri and about 39 kilometers northeast of Villacidro. This positioning within the Marmilla region allows for direct access to the characteristic plateaus of the surrounding area. The municipal territory covers a vast area of 45 square kilometers, characterized by the typical topography of the Sardinian hinterland, serving as a link between the Campidano plain and the mountainous zones of the island's interior.
