Furtei

Furtei is a quiet municipality with approximately 1,485 inhabitants located in southern Sardinia. The village belongs to the historical sub-region of Marmilla and was formerly part of the province of Medio Campidano. Situated in a vast plain, the village is located in the direct vicinity of Sanluri and about 40 kilometers northwest of the Sardinian capital, Cagliari. The municipality represents the typical character of the Campidanese landscape and serves as an important link in the regional infrastructure between Villacidro and the fertile Marmilla plain.
