Aggius

Located in the north of the Italian island of Sardinia, the municipality of Aggius belongs to the Province of Gallura North-East Sardinia. The town is an integral part of the historical subregion of Gallura and is known in the Gallurese language as Aggju. With a population of approximately 1,400 inhabitants, the municipality represents the authentic character of the Sardinian hinterland. Geographically, Aggius is situated about 35 kilometres west of Olbia and around 190 kilometres north of Cagliari, the regional capital.
