The impressive Nuraghe Cuccurada, located on the basaltic plateau of Sa Struvina near Mogoro, is a polylobed structure of immense dimensions. With a preserved height of approximately 16.80 meters and an area of 42 by 30 meters, it is counted among the "giants" of Nuraghi.

The complex developed in multiple phases between the Middle and Late Bronze Age and contains evidence of pre-Nuragic cult sites.
