Duos Nuraghes

The Nuraghe Duos Nuraghes in Borore is a fascinating testament to prehistoric Sardinian culture. It is a well-preserved Nuragic village, inhabited between 1900 and 730 BC, with continuous settlement spanning approximately 3000 years. Excavations, carried out as part of the Duos Nuraghes Project between 1985 and 1996, have provided valuable insights into the Nuragic way of life.

Unlike many Nuragic sites, the Duos Nuraghes Project focused on shedding light on the lives of "ordinary people" and "non-elite settlements." This gives visitors an authentic impression of daily life in a Bronze and Iron Age village in Sardinia.
