Ula Tirso is a tranquil municipality in the province of Oristano, located in the heart of the historic Barigadu region of Sardinia. The village is home to approximately 440 inhabitants and covers an area of about 18.8 square kilometers. The location is characterized by its immediate proximity to Lago Omodeo, a significant reservoir of the Tirso River that significantly shapes the landscape. The municipality is situated about 30 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital, Oristano, and borders the neighboring province of Nuoro. Located approximately 90 kilometers north of Cagliari, the village offers an authentic atmosphere of the Sardinian hinterland, defined by its geographical connection to the island's largest reservoir.
