Nuraghe Perdu Cossu

The Nuraghe Perdu Cossu, located near Norbello, is a remarkable example of Nuragic architecture. It stands out due to its unconventional yet well-preserved layout, setting it apart from many other Sardinian nuraghi.

Particularly fascinating is the adjacent Nuragic village, where archaeological excavations have revealed twelve structures, offering intriguing insights into the life of the Nuragic people. Numerous artifacts found here deepen our understanding of this ancient civilization.

The main structure is a single-towered nuraghe with a largely intact tholos chamber, representing an impressive testament to the construction skills of that era. One can almost feel history beneath one's feet here.
