Portu Sa Ruxi

Spiaggia di Portu Sa Ruxi is a charming bay in southern Sardinia, not far from Villasimius. It comprises three small, picturesque sections with exceptionally fine, white sand that gently slopes into the turquoise sea. The shallow, clear waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling, where a variety of fish can often be observed.

Surrounded by low rocks and dense Mediterranean scrub, Portu Sa Ruxi offers a natural and almost untouched atmosphere. It is the westernmost beach of the Capo Carbonara protected marine area and, consequently, of high ecological importance. The combination of dunes, rocks, and lush vegetation makes it a particularly photogenic spot.

This beach is not only known for its beauty but also for its excellent water quality. It is easily accessible from the coastal road and provides a perfect introduction to the beautiful coastal landscape of Villasimius.
