Location
Porto Conte Regional Nature Park lies on the Riviera del Corallo in north-west Sardinia, north of Alghero. It is named after the geologically and naturally significant site of Porto Conte, which covers most of its area. Established by regional law no. 4 of 26 February 1999, it spans 5,350 hectares within the municipality of Alghero, which set up its managing body, the Azienda speciale Parco di Porto Conte, the same year. The park includes the Capo Caccia cliffs, the Le Prigionette forest with white donkeys, mouflon and free-roaming horses, the Calich wetland, and a network of walking and cycling routes around the sheltered bay.

Casa Gioiosa is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM). The Grotta Verde and the Prigionette nature oasis will reopen to the public starting Saturday, July 2nd, according to this summer season's opening hours. In August, the ticket office is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From February 1st to March 31st, the site is open daily, with the ticket office open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
