The necropolis of Filigosa, located not far from Macomer, is an archaeological treasure of Sardinia. It gave its name to the Eneolithic Filigosa-Abealzu culture and testifies to an impressive continuity of use from prehistory to Roman times.

The complex consists of four "Domus de Janas", tombs carved into the rock, located on the slope of a tuffaceous hill range. Although they show a similar structure, they surprise inside with diverse designs. Their location also offers a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape.
