The Grotta dei Fantasmi (Ghost Cave) is an impressive submerged marine cave located in the karst complex of Punta Giglio, just a few kilometers from Alghero. It is considered one of the most evocative submerged cavities in the entire karst panorama of the Alghero coast. Divers can enter through a small atrium into a tunnel leading to a chamber that penetrates about 70 meters. What makes it special is that once inside, you cannot see the exit or the light, but the concretions on the vaults and the air bubbles make it one of the most beautiful dive sites. It is situated at a depth of merely 5 meters and offers a very emotional diving experience.
