Pozzomaggiore

Pozzomaggiore is an Italian municipality in the Metropolitan City of Sassari with approximately 2,300 inhabitants. The village is located in the Logudoro region, nestled in the historical sub-region of Meilogu in Sardinia. Situated in the northwest of the island, the municipality is part of the Union of Meilogu Municipalities. The settlement is about 40 to 57 kilometers from Sassari and approximately 54 kilometers from Alghero. Covering an area of nearly 80 square kilometers, Pozzomaggiore is an important inland center. The municipality belongs to the Diocese of Alghero-Bosa and directly borders the provinces of Nuoro and Oristano.
